Pop Up Soccer May 18th 11A at Long Hill Baseball field:
In an effort to grow the game in Andover we are implementing Pop up Soccer for Kindergarten and First Grade Players. This time is set aside for the children to have fun engaging in small-sided soccer games of 3v3. Please wear your Red Andover Soccer Jerseys. WE will do this twice more this spring 6/1 and 6/15.
ECSU Clinic 5/22:
ECSU soccer clinic will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at 5:30 to 7:00 at Long Hill Fields. This program is available to U9 and above teams. ECSU players and coaches will be onsite to demonstrate drills. See camp link to register
British Soccer Camp Clinic 5/30:
British Soccer Camp will come to Long Hill Field on Thursday, May 30th, from 5:30 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. for a demonstration/clinic and opportunity to register for summer camp. We plan to have the younger kids (Pre K, Kinder, and 1st grade) for 45 minutes or so from 5:30 p.m. through 6:15 p.m. and then the following teams (Adanti, Romeo, Sklodosky, Maguire/Bolduc, Trzcinski) from 6:15 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. Coaches that do not have practice scheduled on the 30th are still welcome to attend with your teams. Registrants for summer camp will receive free t-shirt offer if registration is received before May 31st. See camp link to register
Fall Competition Team Tryouts:
Tryouts will be held at Long hill FIeld on June 6th and June 11th. It is strongly encouraged all chidren in third grade or age 8 as of 8/1/13 plan to attend. More details about the tryout process will be distributed by coaches in the coming weeks.
Soccer Picnic June 15th 3:30 P:
Save the date! The end of season picnic is upon us. Please stay tuned for how you can help make this a fun afternoon to celebrate our season.
Field Maintenance:
For those who chose to volunteer your labor we are most appreciative. Field Coordinator Fred Oliver will be sending out an email to notify of the spring clean up needs and the dates so you can place on your calendar. If you cannot make the day seleted we have other volunteer opportunities such as lining fields or some other tasks through out the season.
